Over at Call Centers 24x7 we've been working for quite some time now to open a customer service call center in Forks.  We've got some great space there in the ICN building, and the local community has been very helpful and supportive, and CenturyTel is great, and we have the work, but we need staff!

In particular right now we're looking for entry-level and ground-floor people, who can start at $8.00 an hour ($8.50 for graveyard shift) though the pay goes up quite a bit after the initial provisional period.  It's really ideal work for students, for example, maybe in their last year in high school or going to college because it's a great learning opportunity and first-rung career move toward web development or other high-tech trades. 

There's nothing unpleasant like telemarketing involved, and the work is rich with learning opportunities which normally don't come in a call center setting. 

Just a quick addendum; now, on January 29th, the Forks facility has been operating for over a month and it's working out really well.  We are adding a second operator there now and definitely plan to continue to grow the facility.  Even entry-level positions now include medical, dental and vision, too!
